MUSHclient plugins

Garrion's Plugins

These plugins are designed to work on MUSHclient. You can download MUSHclient here. These plugins are provided for anyone to use and change as they see fit. I take no responsibility for anything that may go wrong while using them but know of no major issues while running them.

Chat Window

This pluggin will divert the specified talker and club channels to a "chat" world.

Download: Chat_Redirector_v1-1.zip

Installation:

• Create a new world called "chats".
• Set the world name to "chats", set the IP address to "0.0.0.0", set the Port number to "4000".
• Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
• Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld.
• Press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin.
• Send a tell or a chat across one of the captured channels. This will open the chat world if closed and put the focus on this world.
• Resize the main world and the chat world so you can see them both at the same time.
• Click in the main worlds command line to play on as normal.

Sidebar

Diverts the mud map to a miniwindow on the left had side of your screen, reports on XP gain and has status bars for health and GP. This plugin also fixes some of the bugs that were present in the original plugins.

Added Features:

• XP rate now shown in graph format (One hour history shown).
• Combat statistics now shown in bar format.
• Frames added to define Sidebar areas.
• Colour picking added to make custom colour schemes available.
• Colour changes are saved over sessions.
• Disc time and date shown on the Misc tab.
• It is slightly wider than the old Sidebar.

Colour Picker:

• Each bars colour may be set individually by clicking on it.
• The frame next to the text on the Health Bar section can be clicked to choose frame colours.
• The header text on the Health Bar section can be clicked to choose text colours.
• The background next to the text on the Health Bar section can be clicked to choose background colours.

I have left the old version available for those of you that prefer the old look and feel of the Sidebar.

Added Features:

• Tabs to show xp, offensive and defensive stats (stats only work on combat verbose).
• Status bars now have health and GP numbers in the bars.
• Status bars now have a rounded look.
• There is now a Status bar for burden.
• The map now shows the brief room description above it.
• The map now will show a basic map key when you put the mouse over it.
• Type "reportxp" to send XP counter information as a group say.
• Type "resetxp" to reset the XP counter from the command line.
• Type "sidebar_config" to automatically use all the recommended Mud settings.
• Type "help sidebar" to see a brief help file.
• Type "sidebarleft" or "sidebarright" to change what side the sidebar is shown.

Installation: Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then ensure you have the following options set in the mud (or type "sidebar_config" after installation):

• options output prompt=off
• options output look=verbose
• options output shortinlong=on
• options output map look=top
• options output map lookcity=top
• options output map glance=top
• options output map glancecity=top
• options output map written=off

Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin and type "look".

If you want it to remove the map from the mud change this line: omit_from_output="n" to omit_from_output="y" in the multi_line_map trigger. This is not recommended! See the note below.

NOTE: If you have trouble with the map part of this plugin capturing unwanted information check that it is not false triggering on informs.

XP Graph

Shows the average xp per hour rate in a graph that updates every minute.

Features:

• Click the header to hide and show the graph.
• Click the header to reset the graph.
• Type "resetxp" to reset the XP counter from the command line.
• Click the 4 question marks to change the 4 colours of the graph.
• Colour changes are saved between sessions.

Bugs Fixed:

• The window resizes correctly now when the graph is collapsed.

Installation: Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin.

Major Shield Timer

This pluggin will show a small window telling you roughly how long it is until your shield expires.

Download: MajorTimer_v1.zip

Installation: Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin. Edit the line in the plugin that reads "duration = 380" to be your fa.ri.de.se bonus minus 20 points to get a rough shield time. eg my fa.ri.de.se bonus is 400 so I have it set at 380.

Limitations:

• It does not remember the time when you log off so it will think you have no shield when you log back on.
• While the world is open the timer will count down so if you lose connection or SU it will continue.
• You have to manually set your shield duration by editing the plugin.

Quota Dislay

This pluggin will show a small window displaying your Quota information.

Download: Quota_v2.zip

Installation: Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin. Read or check your quota to display the information. Typing "hidequota" will hide the display box.

Added Features:

• It now shows the time remaining on your Quota.

Limitations:

• It does not update automatically. You will have to check your quota to update the window.
• It is still in the testing phase.

XP Counter

Simple XP counter that tracks your average xp per hour, total XP and XP gained since last reset.

Installation: Download and unzip the file provided into your plugin directory. On a standard set up this should be: /Program Files/MUSHclient/worlds/plugins.
Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin.

HP and GP bars

Simple gauges that show HP and GP percentages.

Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin.

NOTE: This plugin is still a bit buggy and will blank out every now and then if you have informs on. I am trying to fix the problem but the regular expression syntax is giving me trouble.

Kripsi's

GroupShields

New Version (V4): Currently works for CCC, TPA and EFF. It also now takes into account a major shield layer below or above a CCC layer, and changes the colours of your text in your main output window for TPA changing colour or for TPA and CCC changing.

Open up MUSHclient and logon to Discworld. Then press Ctrl+Shft+P to open the Plugin menu and Add the plugin and type the following:

• group status brief
• group shields

Older Version (V3-1): Shows group member names and magical shield status on the left hand side of the screen. This plugin currently ony tracks TPA, CCC and EFF.
