Al'Hrahaz's Scintillating Blorpler (abbreviated as AHSB) is a miscellaneous wizard spell which turns a piece of jewellery into a blorple for use with Jogloran's Portal of Cheaper Travel.

[edit] Spell details
This is a big brother to the spell Amazing Silicate Blorpler.
This spell creates a component for another spell. The required piece of target jewellery is imprinted with the memory of the caster's current location. The imprinted target (known as a Blorple) can then be used in the spell Jogloran's Portal of Cheaper Travel to open portals between locations.
Spell failure will cause considerable damage to the caster and destroy the piece of target jewellery. The caster is encouraged to use an impact shield produced by the spell Transcendent Pneumatic Alleviator for protection, but still may sustain serious damage.
The piece of target jewellery must be worn for the casting, and generally more expensive jewellery will cause more damage in spell failure.
The spell Worstler's Advanced Metallurgical Glance may be used to scry the location imprinted on the piece of target jewellery.

The gold ring seems to purr contently from within.

You continue to polish the gold ring until it starts to glow. You finally get the gold ring hot enough. You imprint the memory of your surroundings in the gold ring. The gold ring suddenly explodes into millions of bits!
