This is a round shield with the Royal coat of arms embossed on its middle. Engraved above the coat is "Royal Ankhe-Morepork Citie Watch & Ward", below reads "FABRICATI DIEM, PVNCTI AGVNT CELERITER".

The antique round shield is about two and a half feet long and about two feet wide. It is made of iron and looks like it could be held as a shield.
