Components

Effects
After casting this spell, the wizards is instructed to 'firewrite' a message. This message is then shown with a display of fireworks.
The message can contain colour codes, and even with moderate skills can easily be several thousand characters long. If you attempt to firewrite a message that is too long nothing at all will happen, and you can simply try again firewrite-ing a shorter text.
Inside cities the fireworks display can be seen several tens of rooms away, in terrain rooms it only shows up in the same room.
Casting Messages
- Casting
You awaken the torch with words of power. You summon a salamander from the fiery wastes of the eighth hell. With the quill, you pin the fiery spirit to the torch. You draw upon the powers of fire, pouring them into the torch.
- Success
A small dot of flame shoots up from your hand, hovers above your head and suddenly flashes brightly, forming itself into an imp. The fiery imp whispers to you: Use the command "firewrite <text>" to write your message in the sky.
After you 'firewrite' your text:
The fiery imp grimaces. The fiery imp seems to implode on itself, leaving behind a small dot of flame which shoots up into the sky.
This is then followed by four random lines describing the fireworks display, the last of which contains your message.
