Solid from toe to heel, these boots are made of the rare and costly hide of a grflx. As such, they are designed to protect the wearer from any unexpected trees falling from the sky and hitting them on their feet. Of course, the effectiveness is most likely untested because nobody would be stupid enough to apply for the job of test dummy. The diamond-shaped scales of which it is formed are too hard to scratch, and will very likely never lose their dull, sinister gleam.
