Formed like a wood-cutter's axe, the fu has a sharp, wide blade which has been attached to the end of a two foot long timber pole. The iron head is very heavy, but the resulting swing would be very effective.

The fu is about two and a half feet long and about a foot wide. It is made of steel and wood and could be used as a weapon of type axe.
