This warm leather cap has big wide earflaps to protect your ears from the cold, or a nasty wooden cosh. It should provide excellent protection from blows to the head, due to its thick wool lining, but it might not be as good against something sharp.

The fur-lined leather cap with earflaps is about a foot long and about nine inches wide. It is made of leather and could be worn as armour.
