Intelligence tea is a potion which raises the drinker's intelligence stat for a period of time.

Intelligence tea is made from sage. It must be stirred with an owl feather and then brewed by a witch in order to be effective.
The potency of intelligence tea is proportional to the brewing bonus of the witch who brewed it; a more potent intelligence tea confers its benefits for longer for a given amount drank.

Upon drinking intelligence tea, the drinker's intelligence stat is raised by one point.
The stat gain will last for a time proportional to the amount drunk and the brewing bonus of the witch who created the potion. It is generally recommended that the entire bottle be drunk in one go, as the effects do not otherwise last long enough to be useful. Typical stat gain duration from drinking a bottle is around 5 - 10 minutes.
Note that the int boost from the tea may be stacked with other stat effects without penalty.
Once the stat gain wears off, the drinker will immediately suffer a penalty of one point to their intelligence stat. This penalty generally lasts 2 - 3 times longer than the original benefit.
