The keiko is a sturdy, hourglass-shaped cuirass made of scale armour. Worn like a vest, it hangs from the shoulders and has ties on the front which allow it to be securely fastened and unfastened easily.

The keiko is about two feet long and about a foot and a half wide. It is made of iron and could be worn as armour.
