This is an ornate, plumed helm. It looks mostly ceremonial - it's hard to see how the long horse-hair plume could assist in a life or death battle scenario. Nonetheless, it does look very pretty. There is an eagle grasping a rose in its claws on the head.
It appears to have something written on it.

The ornate plumed helm is about six inches long and four inches wide. It is made of steel and could be worn as armour.
